About The Position

We are seeking a Hematology & Oncology Physician for a locum tenens position in Chambersburg, PA. This role involves providing both outpatient consultations and inpatient/ER consultation and patient care guidance. The physician will supervise infusion center treatments, participate in a call rotation, and coordinate with other specialists. The coverage period is from November 02, 2026, to February 01, 2027, with a clinical shift schedule of Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 16:30, and a call schedule of 1 week per month, including weekends and nights. The patient volume is approximately 5 patients per day, focusing on Oncology (Lung, Breast, Prostate, Colorectal) and Hematology cases. Specialty backup from an NP and a Virtual Hematologist is available.

Requirements

• Active PA license or Universal License (IMLC)
• Fellowship required
• Less experienced providers considered, experienced physicians in practice

• Double Boarded preferred (BC/BE)

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient hematology/oncology consultations and follow-up care.
• Provide inpatient/ER consultation and patient care guidance for Hematology/Oncology.
• Supervise infusion center treatments (chemotherapy, immunotherapy, IVIG).
• Participate in call rotation (1 week/month), managing weekend and night call.
• Participate in tumor board and coordinate radiation oncology referrals.
