About The Position
Seeking a Hematology & Oncology Physician for a Locum Tenens position in Indianapolis, IN. This is an inpatient role requiring clinical coverage and call. The coverage period is from January 4, 2027, ongoing, with specific shifts needed throughout January to June 2027, including weekdays and weekends. The average daily patient volume is 10-15, with assigned patients for rounding. The facility uses Cerner EMR and provides 1-2 APPs for support staff. Hospital privileges are not required, as temporary privileges are available.
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE).
- Valid Indiana (IN) medical license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Advanced Burn Life Support (ABLS) certification.
- Required Fellowship in Hematology & Oncology.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical coverage for Hematology & Oncology patients.
- Participate in call with a 30-minute response time.
- Round on assigned patients.
- Manage an average daily patient volume of 10-15.
