About The Position
Seeking a Board Certified Hematology & Oncology Physician for a Locum Tenens position in Lake Havasu City, AZ. This role involves providing clinical care in both outpatient and inpatient settings, managing a high-volume patient caseload, conducting hospital rounds, and performing occasional consults for oncology patients. The physician will collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive cancer care and maintain accurate medical records using the Iknowmed EMR system. Coverage is needed ASAP and ongoing, with a shift schedule of Monday-Thursday from 8 AM to 5 PM and Friday from 8 AM to 12 PM. Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are covered by the agency.
Requirements
- Board Certified (BC)
- Licensed in AZ or IMLC
- BLS Certification
- Fellowship Required
Responsibilities
- Provide Oncology care to patients in both outpatient clinic and inpatient hospital settings.
- Manage a high-volume patient caseload during clinic hours (Mon-Thu 8a-5p, Fri 8a-12p).
- Conduct hospital rounds and occasional hospital consults for oncology patients.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive cancer care.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records using Iknowmed EMR system.
