About The Position
We are seeking a Hematology & Oncology Physician for a Locum-to-Permanent position covering outpatient services at facilities in Plymouth and Mishawaka, Indiana. This role involves clinical duties and call coverage, with a focus on both Hematology and Oncology practices. The physician will be responsible for managing patient care, including ordering tests, prescribing medications, and performing specific procedures. There is an opportunity for this role to become permanent for the right candidate.
Requirements
- Active IN License
- Board Certified (BC)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Interest in going permanent
- Self-Query NPDB report (pulled within the month)
Responsibilities
- Participation on a Tumor Board
- Management of Bone Marrow Transplants
- Ordering Tests, Blood Bank, and Images
- Prescribing medications
- Administration of Chemo
- Management of VAD/CV Catheters
- Bone Marrow Biopsy
- Infusion coverage
