About The Position
We are seeking a Hematology & Oncology Physician for a Locums Tenens position in Richmond, Virginia. This role involves both inpatient and outpatient care, including call coverage. The coverage period is from July 13, 2026, to August 25, 2026. The physician will manage an average daily patient volume of 12-15, focusing on oncology and hematology cases. The facility utilizes the Epic EMR system and has NP support staff available. Temporary privileges are available.
Requirements
- Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology
- Active VA License
- BLS certification
- Willing to enroll patients in research studies
- Clean background and NPDB self-query required
Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient and outpatient hematology/oncology care
- Oversee and collaborate with a Nurse Practitioner
- Participate in call coverage as scheduled
- Enroll and manage patients in research studies
- Manage a daily patient volume of 12-15 on the inpatient service
