About The Position
Seeking a Hematology & Oncology Physician for a Locum Tenens position in Seaside, OR. This outpatient role involves providing clinical care to adult patients, managing chemotherapy and immunotherapy, and performing bone marrow biopsies. The physician will collaborate with a dedicated team of NPs, RNs, social work, palliative care, dietician, and a nurse navigator. The coverage period is from December 1, 2026, ongoing, with a preferred schedule of Tuesday-Friday, 8 am-5 pm or 7:30 am-5:30 pm, working 3 days per week. This coverage is due to a long-term permanent search vacancy.
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE)
- Active Oregon (OR) medical license
- DEA required
- BLS certification
- EMR proficiency
- Team collaboration skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience with bone marrow biopsies
Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient hematology/oncology care to adult patients
- Integrate with infusion center for chemotherapy and immunotherapy management
- Perform bone marrow biopsies as needed and preferred
- Collaborate with a strong team of NPs, RNs, and support staff including social work and palliative care
- Participate in multidisciplinary care coordination with dietician and oncology nurse navigator
