About The Position

Seeking a Hematology & Oncology Physician for a Locum Tenens position in Wooster, OH. This outpatient role involves providing clinical care only, covering a vacancy due to retirement. The coverage period is from October 5, 2026, to January 4, 2027. The physician will work 4 days per week, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, managing approximately 15 patients per day. The facility utilizes the Epic EMR system.

Requirements

• Active Ohio license (IMLC not accepted)
• Board Certified in Hematology and Medical Oncology

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient hematology and oncology consultations and follow-up care.
• Manage chemotherapy and infusion treatments, including patient monitoring.
• Collaborate with nursing staff, nurse practitioners, and support team to coordinate patient care.
• Document patient encounters accurately in Epic EMR.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings with dietician, social work, and pharmacy.
