About The Position

Seeking a Hematology & Oncology Physician for a Locum Tenens position in Martin, Kentucky. This is an outpatient role covering a low-volume clinic for supplemental needs over a 12-month period. The physician will manage approximately 15 patients per day, with 60% of the practice focused on Hematology and 40% on Oncology. The role involves tumor board participation and supervision of infusions. High-acuity leukemia cases are referred to tertiary centers. Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) will assist with documentation and orders. The facility is a Critical Access Facility utilizing Meditech EMR.

Requirements

• Board Certified – Internal Medicine, Hematology, Medical Oncology
• Willing to obtain necessary licenses.
• Approximately 60 days for credentialing.
• Recent patient-facing experience required.

Responsibilities

• Manage approximately 15 patients per day.
• Focus 60% of practice on Hematology and 40% on Oncology.
• Participate in tumor boards.
• Supervise infusions.
• Conduct oncology follow-ups.
• Provide solo provider coverage for a low-volume clinic.
