Hematology Oncology Physician (Oneonta, NY)
About The Position
Bassett Healthcare Network, in central New York, is seeking a Hematologist-Medical Oncologist to join our staff. The Bassett Regional Cancer Program has been continuously accredited by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer as a Comprehensive Community Cancer Center since 1947 and the American Society of Clinical Oncology since 2021. The program is also a member of the ECOG-ACRIN with close to 30 years of participation in NCI and sponsored clinical trials. The program has a collaborative and multidisciplinary model, which includes onsite Radiation Oncologists, Surgical Oncologists, Pathologists and Radiologists, including an active weekly tumor board. The program has a comprehensive support team that includes Nurse Navigators, Social Workers, Financial Counselors, a Nutritionist and Palliative Care Practitioners. Join an established group of Physicians and Advanced Practice Clinicians. This is an outpatient only position with dedicated inpatient oncologists. The Bassett Medical Group is multispecialty with over 500 practitioners. Practice within Bassett Healthcare Network, an integrated system delivering care across an eight-county region. Requirements
- MD, DO or MBBS
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
- Completion of an accredited USA Hematology-Oncology Fellowship
- NYS Licensure
- BLS Certification Required
- DEA Required
Responsibilities
- 1:6 shared remote call
