About The Position
We are seeking a Hematology & Oncology Physician for a Locum Tenens position in Marquette, MI. This role involves providing both inpatient and outpatient care, with a focus on clinical duties and occasional call. The position is for supplemental coverage from September 21, 2026, onwards, with specific coverage dates throughout the fall of 2026. The physician will manage an average of 10-15 patients per day in an outpatient setting and participate in a 1:2 call schedule. Collaboration with a supportive team of Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), Registered Nurses (RNs), and office staff is essential. The role also includes participation in weekly tumor boards and utilization of genetic counseling and research resources.
Requirements
- Board Certified required
- Licensed in MI
- BLS
- ACLS
Responsibilities
- Provide hematology/oncology patient care in an outpatient setting with occasional inpatient consultation.
- Manage an average of 10–15 patients per day during clinic hours.
- Participate in a 1:2 call schedule with beeper call and phone consults.
- Collaborate with a team of APPs, RNs, and support staff to deliver comprehensive care.
- Engage in weekly tumor board and utilize available genetic counseling and research resources.
