About The Position

The Helper assists other crafts and jobsite personnel with construction activities, including flagging, serving as a firewatch or confined space attendant, providing labor support, and housekeeping. The role requires working collaboratively and independently with minimal supervision. Work may involve extended periods outdoors and at heights, with personal protective equipment required.

Requirements

Hold a current TWIC card.
Have three or more years of experience in the craft.
Be able to work well with others as a team player and independently with minimal supervision.
Have good verbal communication and active listening skills with coworkers and supervisors.
Meet the physical requirements of the role, including sustained standing, walking, bending, squatting, and lifting; using arms and hands to handle objects, materials, controls, and tools; and potentially lifting, carrying, and moving up to 50 pounds.
Be able to work at heights, climb ladders and stairways, and work from platforms, including at heights up to 300 feet using proper fall protection.
Have vision abilities to focus and see at short and long distances, colors, depth, and peripheral areas.
Be able to work outdoors in heat, cold, rain, snow, and wind, and for periods up to 12 hours a day.
Wear required personal protective equipment, including hard hat, safety glasses or goggles, ear plugs or muffs, masks or respirators, safety vests, gloves, and steel-toe boots.
