About The Position
The Helper assists other crafts and jobsite personnel with construction activities, including flagging, firewatch, serving as a confined space attendant, providing labor support, and housekeeping. The role requires working collaboratively and independently with minimal supervision. Work may involve extended periods outdoors and working up to 12 hours per day, including work at heights with appropriate fall protection.
Requirements
- Current TWIC Card.
- Three or more years of experience in the craft.
- Ability to work with others as a team player and independently with minimal supervision.
- Good verbal communication and active listening skills with coworkers and supervisors.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including standing, walking, bending, squatting, lifting, climbing, and working at heights.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and for periods up to 12 hours a day.
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment, including a hard hat, safety glasses or goggles, ear protection, masks or respirators, safety vest, gloves, and steel-toe boots.
