About The Position

This role involves supporting skilled workers in an industrial or manufacturing setting. Responsibilities include assisting with equipment setup, material handling, maintaining a clean work area, operating basic machinery under supervision, and performing routine maintenance. Safety is paramount, requiring adherence to all protocols and the use of PPE. Accurate record-keeping of tasks and materials is also expected.

Requirements

• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects and standing for long periods.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure tasks are completed accurately and safely.
• Ability to operate basic machinery and tools.
• Good communication skills to follow instructions and work effectively with team members.
• Ability to identify and address minor issues that arise during tasks.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support skilled workers by performing tasks such as holding tools, moving materials, and setting up equipment.
• Load and unload materials from machines, carts, and dollies.
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area by sweeping, mopping, and removing debris.
• Operate basic machinery and equipment under supervision.
• Assist in routine maintenance and minor repairs of equipment.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Record details of tasks performed, and materials used.
