About The Position

The Helper Relief (General Labor) position is an entry-level role at the WestRock Humboldt manufacturing facility, similar to a Floater. The role involves working in corrugating and converting operations and supporting manufacturing activities. Candidates who receive a conditional job offer must undergo a drug screening before starting employment. Qualified applicants are considered without regard to protected characteristics under applicable state or federal law.

Requirements

• Ability to safely operate manufacturing equipment and power hand tools and follow specific directions.
• Ability to comply with safety regulations and the Attendance Policy.
• Ability to read a tape measure and have basic math and computer skills.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds; navigate stairs; and stand, walk, bend, and kneel throughout the shift.
• Ability to work daily overtime, weekends, and various shifts depending on the position.
• Must undergo a drug screening after receiving a conditional job offer and before starting employment.

Responsibilities
