About The Position

OCES is growing and expanding to 11 more towns covering the south shore area. OCES supports elders and individuals with disabilities by providing vital information and coordination of services. By promoting healthy, safe lives for our consumers, we hope to allow them to stay as active and engaged in their lives and in their own communities for as long as possible. This is a great entry-level IT opportunity for the right person to provide "Help Desk" services and assist users with application-related and equipment-related problems.

Requirements

• Associate degree in computer-related discipline (Bachelor's degree preferred).
• Experience in a networking environment.
• Ability to assess issues and determine priority.
• Ability to learn new applications quickly.
• Ability to travel and reliable means of transportation.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Knowledge of database concepts and practices.

Nice To Haves

• Current IT certifications (i.e., CompTIA A+, CCNA, Microsoft Fundamentals, etc.) preferred.
• Knowledge of Citrix and Virtual Environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Track help desk requests and ensure closure in a timely manner.
• Assist with hardware installations and software implementations.
• Collaborate with team to provide support to onsite and remote users.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
