About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Heidelberg Pressman to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining Heidelberg XL105/106 offset printing presses. This role involves performing press make-readies, monitoring print quality, conducting routine maintenance, and collaborating with other departments to ensure a smooth workflow. The Pressman will also be responsible for maintaining production records and adhering to safety protocols.

Requirements

Minimum 2–3 years of experience operating Heidelberg XL105 or XL106 presses
Strong understanding of offset printing processes, color theory, and press mechanics
Ability to read and interpret job tickets, proofs, and production schedules
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
High school diploma or equivalent required

Nice To Haves

Technical training in print production preferred

Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and maintain Heidelberg XL105/106 offset printing presses
Perform press make-readies, including plate mounting, ink adjustments, and registration alignment
Monitor print quality throughout production runs, making necessary adjustments to maintain consistency
Conduct routine maintenance and minor repairs to ensure optimal press performance
Collaborate with prepress and finishing departments to ensure seamless workflow
Maintain accurate production records and quality control documentation
Follow all safety protocols and company policies to ensure a safe working environment
Troubleshoot press issues and escalate complex problems to maintenance or supervisory staff
