Oliver Inc. is seeking an experienced 2nd Shift Pressman to operate an 8-color Komori sheet-fed press, ensuring high-quality printing and adherence to customer specifications. This role requires strong technical expertise in color control systems, UV curing, and print quality standards, along with the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. Requirements

Minimum of five years' experience in the printing industry / pressroom.
Interpersonal skills.
Self-initiative to work independently and in a team environment.
Strong quality control skills.
Tenacious attention to detail with advanced organizational skills.
Ability to handle a fast-paced environment with changing demands and competing priorities.
Ability to lift approximately 40 lbs.
Constant use of hands and arms.
Ability to stand on feet all day long.
Frequent walking, kneeling and reaching.
Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. during maintenance schedule (roller maintenance).

Knowledgeable of modern Color Control Systems (CCS).

Responsibilities

Accurately operate an 8 Color Double Coater HUV Komori Sheet-fed press with aqueous or UV coating unit or units with precision and skill.
Understand E.C/U.V. curing systems and how to maintain them.
Interpret trapping, gray balance and dot gain data for use in running and maintaining Solid Ink Density (SID).
Run the job per job ticket specifications and customer's requirements.
Seek assistance when needed to clarify unclear tasks and responsibilities.
Assist in production of each job to measure to highest quality standards.
Maintain a safe, clean work environment.
Adhere to the company and department's standard operating procedures and policies.
Assist with other tasks as assigned.
Maintain departmental housekeeping standards.
