About The Position
Oliver Inc. is seeking an experienced and quality-driven Press Feeder / 2nd Pressman to join their team. This role involves makeready and feeding sheets for a multi-color, high-speed Komori printing press, while adhering to quality and productivity standards and maintaining a clean, safe work area. The position operates on the 2nd shift, from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a pressroom or similar manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and work both independently and as part of a team
- Physical ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs., including bending, stacking, and operating a pallet jack
- High school diploma or equivalent
- A strong focus on quality, safety, and efficiency in a production setting
Responsibilities
- Perform makeready and feed sheets for a multi-color, high-speed Komori printing press
- Run multiple material types including paper, board, foil, and plastic to produce high-quality output
- Troubleshoot feeding issues and assist with periodic and preventative maintenance
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations
- Support the press operator to ensure jobs meet quality and productivity standards
