Heavy Haul Lowboy Driver
About The Position
Heavy Haul, LLC is seeking an experienced and dependable Heavy Haul Lowboy/RGN/OTR Driver based in Nashville, Tennessee. The company provides heavy haul and oversized-load transportation services, including transporting heavy equipment, construction machinery, and specialized freight using lowboy, removable gooseneck (RGN), and other heavy-duty trailers. The driver will transport oversized and overweight loads and safely load, secure, and unload heavy equipment while maintaining the company’s standards for safety, professionalism, reliability, and customer service. Pay varies by route: OTR drivers average $125,000–$150,000 per year, while local and regional drivers average $80,000–$90,000 per year. Pay combines hourly compensation, bonuses, and commissions, and is paid weekly.
Requirements
- Class A CDL.
- Lowboy experience.
- Experience transporting oversized and overweight loads.
- Experience with permitted and escorted loads.
- Heavy haul experience with multi-axle and other specialized trailers.
- Strong safety record.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Commitment to professionalism and dependable service.
