About The Position
Heavy Haul, LLC is seeking an experienced, dependable Heavy Haul Lowboy/RGN Over-the-Road Driver based in Knoxville, Tennessee. The company provides specialized transportation services for heavy equipment, construction machinery, and other specialized freight using lowboy, removable gooseneck (RGN), and other heavy-duty trailers. The role involves transporting oversized and overweight loads and safely loading, securing, and unloading heavy equipment. The ideal candidate is a skilled CDL Class A driver with a strong safety record, attention to detail, and a commitment to professionalism and dependable service. Over-the-road drivers average $125,000–$150,000 per year. Local and regional drivers average $80,000–$90,000 per year. Pay combines hourly wages, bonuses, and commissions.
Requirements
- CDL Class A license.
- Lowboy experience.
- Experience transporting permitted and escorted loads.
- Heavy-haul experience with multi-axle and other specialized trailers.
- Experience transporting oversized and overweight loads.
- Strong safety record, attention to detail, professionalism, and dependability.
Responsibilities
