About The Position

Black Hills Trucking is hiring a full-time over-the-road driver assigned to its terminal in Williston, North Dakota. The driver safely operates a Class A commercial vehicle for long-haul deliveries, including oversize and overweight loads, while meeting DOT and company safety and compliance standards. The role involves completing vehicle inspections, maintaining driving logs, communicating with dispatch, delivering freight on schedule, handling pickup and drop-off paperwork, and securing cargo to protect load integrity.

Requirements

• At least two years of OTR experience.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with all endorsements.
• Ability to meet DOT physical requirements, including drug and alcohol testing.
• Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and a safety-conscious attitude.
• Willingness to be on the road for extended periods.
• Fluency in English, verbally and in writing.
• Acceptable results from a DOT physical.
• Acceptable results from a pre-employment background check, credit check, and drug/alcohol test.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to be trained in and proficiently use business-specific applications, including ELD, dispatch apps, electronic DVIR, and app-based safety training.

Responsibilities
