About The Position

Sunstate Equipment Co. is hiring a Technician I for its shop. The role involves maintaining construction equipment and applying basic knowledge of diesel and gas engines, electrical systems, hydraulics, and drivetrains. Technicians use schematics and computer diagnostic software, apply welding methods, and troubleshoot problems while maintaining high standards of quality. Requirements

• One year of experience maintaining construction equipment or graduation from an accredited technical institute.
• Basic maintenance understanding of diesel engines, electrical fundamentals, hydraulic fundamentals, gas engines, and drivetrains.
• Basic understanding of schematics, computer diagnostic software, and welding methods.
• Strong quality-control standards and respect for the quality of one's work.
• Willingness and readiness to learn.
