About The Position

Sureway Construction is one of Alberta’s largest heavy construction contractors, involved in civil earthworks and grading, utilities and offsite, mine operation and aggregate extraction. This is a full-time, permanent position with a schedule of 10+ hours per day, 5 & 2, with overtime after 8 hours per day or 44 hours per week. The role is located at 9175 – 14 Street NW, Edmonton, AB. Sureway is a Repair Facility, not a component exchange shop, providing technicians with a sense of ownership. Requirements

Full Complement of Hand Tools
Personal Reliable Vehicle
CSA approved steel toed boots with 6” ankle support
Valid Driver’s License
Must be a 3rd year or Journeyperson HET – Truck and Transport (or 4th year HET)
Engine Rebuild and Performance Software Experience is Required
Ability to read/troubleshoot and diagnose using hydraulic and electronic schematics
Exceptional organization and cleanliness skills are REQUIRED

Nice To Haves

CVIP Certification is Beneficial
Power Train Experience is Beneficial
Experience with Electronics and Emissions is Beneficial
