About The Position

Ditch Witch West, a capital equipment dealer and member of the Pape’ Group, is seeking a Shop Technician to work in its Fowler, California shop. The technician will service heavy trenching and construction equipment, completing repairs accurately and promptly to support customers and maximize equipment uptime. The role involves working alongside trained technicians in a shop with support and resources to perform equipment repairs. Candidates must provide their own tools. Candidates are required to successfully pass a pre-employment drug test.

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience diagnosing and repairing construction or other heavy equipment.
Basic computer knowledge.
Self-motivation.
Must provide own tools.
Driver’s license with a good driving record.
Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair heavy trenching and construction equipment.
Complete equipment repairs accurately and in a timely manner to support customers and maximize equipment uptime.
