About The Position

Ditch Witch West, a capital equipment dealer and part of the Pape’ Group, is hiring a Heavy Equipment Shop Technician in Newark, California. The technician works in the shop on heavy trenching and construction equipment, completing repairs accurately and on time to support customers and maximize equipment uptime. The role involves working alongside trained technicians in a well-resourced shop. Requirements

Two or more years of experience diagnosing and repairing construction or other heavy equipment.
Basic computer knowledge.
Self-motivation.
Must provide own tools.
Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair heavy trenching and construction equipment in the shop.
Complete equipment repairs accurately and in a timely manner.
Help support customers and maximize equipment uptime.
