About The Position

Worldwide Machinery is hiring a Heavy Equipment Shop Mechanic in Godley, Texas. The role repairs and maintains a wide range of earthmoving and pipeline equipment in the yard and shop. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Pay is $28–$45 per hour, based on skills and experience.

Worldwide Machinery supplies, rents, sells, and leases heavy earthmoving and pipeline equipment to contractors across multiple industries. It is part of Diversified Rental Services, has more than 25 years of equipment experience, and operates across six branch locations. Its customers include transportation, oil and gas, municipalities, renewable energy, mining, and civil contractors.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license.
• Experience servicing and repairing heavy construction equipment.
• Working knowledge of T4 and T4F emission systems.
• Experience with OEM parts lookup and ordering systems.
• Ability to work independently.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with Caterpillar, John Deere, and OTR equipment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, emissions, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Perform preventative and scheduled maintenance.
• Use computer diagnostic tools for multiple manufacturers.
• Identify, research, and order parts as needed.
• Complete service reports, work orders, and required machine documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned by service or fleet managers.
