Heavy Equipment Operator - Dozer
About The Position
Interstate Waste Services is hiring an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to support landfill and transfer station operations. The role involves operating dozers and other heavy equipment to manage solid waste materials, load transfer trailers, and maintain safe, productive site operations. This is year-round work in an outdoor environment, with a stated pay rate of $24.33 per hour and a full benefits package with paid time off. Requirements
- At least 2 years of heavy equipment operating experience.
- Experience operating a dozer, loader, excavator, or other yellow iron equipment.
- Strong safety record and awareness.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in waste, landfill, construction, quarry, or aggregate environments.
- Bilingual English/Spanish.
