About The Position

The Heavy Equipment Operator will be responsible for performing daily preventive maintenance on heavy equipment, operating various construction vehicles safely, and working as part of a team to meet strict deadlines and safety guidelines. This role requires the ability to work in diverse weather conditions and maintain all necessary licensing and certifications.

Requirements

• Driver's license, required
• Clean driving record
• Ability to pass a drug test
• 2+ years of experience operating heavy equipment
• Understanding of job site safety procedures
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance on a variety of construction class vehicles
• Willingness to work a variety of shifts with 2 weeks' notice
• Willingness to be outside in a variety of extreme weather conditions

Responsibilities

• Performs daily preventive maintenance to heavy equipment (Fueling, Greasing and more)
• Operates a variety of construction class vehicles
• Operate vehicles with safety devices/precautions in place
• Works as part of a team under strict deadlines and safety guidelines
• Expected to work in a variety of extreme weather conditions
• Maintenance of licensing and certification on all vehicles the require licensing or certifications
• Wear Safety PPE at all times
• Attend all safety trainings and Perform all daily safety requirements as outlined by the RTS safety department
