About The Position

This role is responsible for completing warehousing, inventory control, receiving, shipping, product identification and traceability, and proper material handling and storage tasks with minimal supervision. The position also involves assisting with the Inventory Cycle Count Program and completing tasks for the in-coming materials inspection program. The employee will utilize a continuous improvement program, initiate Engineering Change Requests, and comply with Hazardous Waste Management and ISO9001 Quality Management System requirements. Maintaining workplace organization for a safe and suitable work environment is crucial. The role also ensures compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations, policies, and procedures, aiming for zero incidents and injuries. Consistent communication with internal and external individuals is required, along with adherence to company policies to reduce liability. Special projects or work assigned by the Supervisor may also be part of the role.

Requirements

High School graduate, or equivalent.
Knowledge of Shipping, Receiving, Warehousing, Inventory Control, Cycle counting, Packaging, and Logistics.
Attention to detail.
Ability to recognize all colors in a normal spectrum.
Thorough knowledge and understanding of applicable operating and documentation procedures and material flow.
Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office products and other data systems.
Ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
Ability to understand and follow posted work rules and procedures.
Ability to accept constructive criticism.
Ability to prioritize, organize, solve problems, and complete tasks independently.
Ability to lead, supervise and train others.
Ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with subordinates, members of management, vendors, and other employees.
Accurate hand/eye coordination.
Finger dexterity.
Hand strength, with the ability to grasp, lift, push and pull.

Responsibilities

Completes Warehousing, Inventory Control, Receiving, Shipping, Product Identification and traceability, and proper material handling and storage tasks.
Assist with Inventory Cycle Count Program.
Completes tasks required of the In-coming materials inspection program.
Uses continuous improvement program.
Initiate Engineering Change Requests to improve quality, reduce cycle times and /or to correct nonconformities.
Comply with requirements for Hazardous waste Management.
Complies with Quality Management System requirements in accordance with ISO9001.
Maintains all aspects of workplace organization with goal of providing safe and suitable work environment for Broderson employees.
Performs other job tasks as requested.
Ensures Compliance in all safety, health, and environmental regulations, policies, and procedures for a goal of zero incidents and injuries.
Communicate consistently on all activities to appropriate individuals (internal and external).
Maintain ongoing communication and adhere to all Company policies to eliminate and or reduce exposure to liability.
Special projects or work as assigned by the Supervisor.
May assist in managing the Equipment Maintenance Program.
May participant in the Plant Safety Program.
Aids other departments, as needed.
Will be required to participate in Small Group Improvement Activity Teams, daily Team Meetings and Team Exercise sessions.
Required to identify opportunities for improvements and submit in accordance with Continuous Improvement Program.
