About The Position
As the shop manager, maintaining compliancy with all company policies and managing service operations will be part of the day-to-day operations. You are also responsible for employees and ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and in a timely manner. A safe work environment is our top priority.
Requirements
- Strong leadership skills
- Detailed knowledge of the shop industry
- Work well with a team
- Problem and analytical solving abilities
- Capability of translating industry terminology
- Must have familiarity with John Deere, Caterpillar, and Komatsu equipment
Responsibilities
- Schedule and assign tasks and providing training to employees
- Looking over daily works of employees
- Maintaining records and files
- Maintenance and repair assistance
- Keeping tidy shop and equipment
- Exercises a safe work environment by following and enforcing company policies and procedures
- Complying with Federal, State, and Local regulations, including DOT and OSHA
- Review timecards
- Hold weekly safety meetings and attend manager meetings
- Gives updates on repairs/parts orders
- Ensures deadlines are met
- Operate shop machinery
- Other tasks as needed
