About The Position
We are looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment Field Service Technician to join our team. You will be diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy construction and earthmoving equipment in the field at customer job sites.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of heavy equipment repair experience
- Strong diesel, hydraulic, and electrical systems knowledge
- OEM dealership experience preferred (CAT, John Deere, Komatsu, Volvo, CASE, Hitachi, etc.)
- High school diploma or technical certificate
- Valid driver's license required
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on equipment including: Excavators (CAT, Komatsu, Volvo, Hitachi, John Deere, Link-Belt) Dozers and track loaders (CAT, Komatsu, John Deere) Wheel loaders and skid steers Motor graders Articulated and rigid dump trucks Compactors and pavers Backhoes and telehandlers Scrapers and pipe layers
- Perform preventive maintenance (oil, filters, fluids, belts, hoses)
- Read and interpret service manuals and electrical schematics
- Document repairs and parts usage accurately
- Travel to customer job sites and work independently in the field
