About The Position
The heavy equipment Diesel Mechanic will be responsible for all repairs and services associated with the heavy equipment. Mechanic will be responsible for assisting service oilers to perform PM’s and any other related job duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Prior experience and/or knowledge of tasks associated with repairs and servicing of dozers, haulers, blades, scrapers, loaders, pickups, trucks and other light vehicles and maintenance of diesel equipment.
- Skills required to perform duties on a multi-shift operation.
- Possess a valid driver’s license through the duration of employment.
- Meet all insurability requirements as specified by Westmoreland’s policies or Driver’s insurance provider.
Nice To Haves
- Two year diesel technology degree preferred or equivalent experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform all repairs and services associated with heavy equipment.
- Assist service oilers to perform PM's.
- Perform any other related job duties as assigned.
