About The Position
Total Sanitation Services is seeking a Heavy Duty Mechanic (Apprentice or Red Seal) to join their team and ensure their fleet operates at peak performance. This role involves working closely with the Fleet Manager on medium and heavy-duty trucks, vacuum units, pumps, and hydraulics. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, enjoy solving complex mechanical challenges, and be comfortable working in a dynamic environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience with heavy duty trucks.
- Class 3 or Class 5 Driver’s License (air endorsement and clean driver’s abstract preferred).
- Own tools (tool allowance provided).
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Nice To Haves
- Red Seal certification is an asset.
- Experience with vacuum systems, hydraulics, pumps, or trailers is an asset.
Responsibilities
