About The Position

Romac is seeking a Heavy Assembler I to perform mechanical assembly according to established procedures and guidelines. The role involves following production schedules, written instructions, and drawings while meeting deadlines and quality standards. The assembler also packages and labels products, maintains accurate inventory records, applies the correct parts, and uses computer transactions to track product progress and inventory levels. The position involves physical demands and adherence to the company work schedule.

Hours are Monday through Thursday, 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Compensation is $18.25 per hour, depending on experience. Romac offers medical, dental, and vision coverage, a discretionary year-end bonus, profit sharing, and a 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching.

Requirements

• Ability to work in a team.

• Basic math and computer skills.
• Ability to use and read a tape measure.
• Ability to use small tools and equipment.
