This role involves determining client eligibility for HEAT utility and water assistance in compliance with Federal, State, and UCA policies. The position requires providing trauma-informed, client-centered support, educating clients on budgeting and energy-saving strategies, and managing caseloads to ensure timely and accurate service delivery. The Eligibility Worker will also refer clients to appropriate internal and community resources, assist with other program functions, maintain accurate records, and communicate effectively with diverse clients and community partners. Proficiency in internet-based systems and standard computer applications is necessary, along with sound judgment and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment. The role requires working independently and collaboratively, being open to feedback, and committing to team success.
