About The Position

Virtua Medical Group is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible, fellowship-trained Advanced Heart Failure Cardiologist for a 100% Advanced Heart Failure position in its expanding heart failure program. The role is based on-site at Virtua Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Camden, New Jersey, with an additional location in Cherry Hill. The physician will join a provider-led group of more than 1,800 clinicians and work within Virtua’s integrated Cardiovascular Service Line. The organization offers access to EPIC EMR, modern facilities, and advanced technology. The physician will contribute to a nationally recognized Advanced Heart Failure program providing care across the continuum, including inpatient LVAD implantation, outpatient management, cardiac rehabilitation, home-based care, and community support. Virtua Our Lady of Lourdes is a DNV-accredited VAD facility, and the recently launched Advanced Heart Failure Center in Camden expands access to surgical and outpatient services. The program operates nine dedicated heart failure centers across South Jersey and uses a multidisciplinary, guideline-driven model involving cardiologists, advanced practice providers, pharmacists, dietitians, care managers, rehabilitation specialists, palliative care experts, and peer support groups. Care includes remote monitoring and collaborative LVAD management. The position is full-time, with a first-shift schedule and 40 total weekly hours. The posted minimum base salary is $525,000 per year; final compensation is competitive and depends on experience, qualifications, and market factors. Requirements

Board-certified or board-eligible in cardiology.

Responsibilities
