About The Position

The HealthMarket Clerk helps maintain fresh, clean, and well-stocked products while welcoming and assisting customers. The role involves customer service, stocking and rotating products, monitoring product quality, maintaining sanitation, and working collaboratively with the team. Clerks may also assist in other store areas and with special projects. Training and support are provided; prior experience is not required. Employment is contingent upon successfully completing a pre-employment drug screen.

Requirements

• Follow written and verbal instructions.
• Use basic math for simple addition, subtraction, counting, and recording.
• Communicate clearly and helpfully with customers and teammates.
• Stay organized and keep up with the pace of a busy department.
• Frequently stand and walk throughout a shift in sales, food service, or delivery areas.
• Perform repetitive standing, walking, reaching, and bending associated with order fulfillment, POS transactions, and cleaning and sanitation duties.
• Complete a pre-employment drug screen successfully.

Nice To Haves

• Up to six months of similar or related work experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide helpful customer service throughout the store.
• Help customers find products, reach items, carry heavy purchases, and communicate feedback or requests to the team.
• Offer product suggestions and answer customer questions.
• Help customers locate and access homeopathic and natural wellness products without providing medical instruction or advice on product use.
• Monitor product freshness and appearance; replenish and rotate products as needed.
• Anticipate daily product needs and follow or develop a production list.
• Check in and put away products, and review invoices as needed.
• Follow sanitation procedures and keep the work area clean and organized.
• Remove trash promptly and maintain a tidy department.
• Work with teammates to provide a smooth, positive customer experience.
• Follow the dress code, hygiene standards, and company policies.
• Assist in other store areas and take on special projects as needed.
