Full-time Healthcare Server
About The Position
Westminster-Canterbury of the Blue Ridge is a non-profit Continuing Care Retirement Community serving over 400 residents. Its mission is to respond to the dynamic needs of the aging by providing high-quality services and programs in a residential environment. The Dining Services department has 11 dining venues, ranging from upscale dining to grab and go, and is seeking associates who are passionate about serving residents. The Healthcare Server works primarily in the Healthcare dining rooms and the Main Dining Room in Independent Living. Shift options are 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. or 11:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. The minimum pay is $16.88 per hour.
Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Availability to work evenings and weekends is required.
Nice To Haves
- Prior food service experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Properly set up dining areas and maintain a clean environment.
- Take customer orders and communicate effectively with kitchen staff to provide a pleasant and accurate dining experience.
- Ensure customers are correctly charged through the computerized POS system.
