About The Position

Flatrock is seeking a Healthcare Operations Supervisor to lead, mentor, and support the Medical Coordinator team while ensuring residents receive exceptional healthcare services. The role combines clinical oversight, staff development, quality assurance, and operational leadership to improve outcomes for residents and staff. The supervisor develops team members, provides hands-on healthcare training, evaluates competency, audits medical records and medication systems, monitors treatment recommendations, supports resident healthcare goal-setting, and improves healthcare policies, procedures, and workflows. The position includes a rotation of on-call duties.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or a similar field.
3–5 years of supervisory experience in a healthcare, medical, or related field.
Experience working with behavioral health populations.
Strong leadership and team development skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Supervise, coach, mentor, and support the Medical Coordinator team.
Create individualized staff development plans and performance goals.
Provide hands-on training in medication administration, vital signs, and healthcare-related procedures.
Conduct competency evaluations and sign off on medication passer training.
Audit medical records in Flatrock’s database for accuracy, compliance, and organization.
Monitor treatment recommendations and ensure timely follow-through.
Support treatment teams in developing individualized healthcare goals for residents.
Develop and improve healthcare policies, procedures, and workflows.
Conduct audits of the medication system, MARs, logs, appointments, and documentation.
Provide oversight to assigned homes and medical service areas.
Participate in a rotation of on-call duties.
