About The Position

DMC Huron Valley-Sinai Hospital is seeking a Health Technician to support medical-record processing. The role reconciles records against the discharge census and takes timely action to retrieve discharged patient records. It also retrieves records from designated patient-care areas, organizes and prepares them, and processes them for document imaging. The technician is expected to meet departmental quality and productivity standards for record preparation and scanning. Other duties may be assigned based on skill level and need.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Organization and time-management skills to meet productivity standards.
• Attention to detail for accurate preparation and scanning of patient medical records.

• Some experience with medical records is preferred.
