About The Position

DMC Sinai-Grace Hospital is seeking a Health Info Tech I to support medical record retrieval and preparation for document imaging. The role reconciles records against discharge census, retrieves discharged patient records from designated patient care areas, and organizes, prepares, and processes records for scanning. The employee is expected to meet departmental quality and productivity standards. Other duties may be assigned based on skill level and department needs.

DMC Sinai-Grace Hospital is DMC’s largest hospital, providing services including heart and cancer care, gerontology, emergency medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, and cosmetic services. The hospital also operates outpatient care sites and ambulatory surgery centers throughout Wayne and Oakland Counties.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Organization and time-management skills to meet productivity standards.
• Attention to detail for accurate preparation and scanning of patient medical records.

Responsibilities
