GLIDE's Health Empowerment & Access Team (HEAT) programs are at the forefront of innovative and collaborative approaches in San Francisco. The Health Systems Program Manager, under the supervision of the Assistant Director of Health Services, supports GLIDE’s integrated HIV, HCV, and STI screening and prevention services. This role ensures clinical excellence, regulatory compliance, and data-driven quality improvement across all testing operations. This role coordinates and supervises testing events with GLIDE staff and other community partners such as San Francisco's Department of Public Health (SFDPH), SF AIDS Foundation and others. This position is responsible for the entire prevention-to-quality cycle: direct participant counseling and sample collection, chain of custody and inventory management, audit preparation and contract reporting, and supervision of interns and testing staff. Working at the intersection of harm reduction and public health accountability, the Manager ensures that GLIDE meets all SFDPH, HIPAA, and contractual obligations while maintaining culturally humble, low-barrier services for people who use drugs (PWUD), people experiencing homelessness, and other marginalized populations.
