About The Position
Lawrence Presbyterian Manor is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise the day-to-day nursing activities of LPNs and nursing assistants. Supervision must follow current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing the Community. The RN advances a resident-first approach, values the Community as the resident’s home, helps create a homelike environment, and models person-centered care. Compensation starts at $35.00 per hour, with shift and weekend differentials under a premium pay plan and additional pay based on experience.
Requirements
- Possess a nursing degree from an accredited college or university, or graduate from an approved RN program.
- Hold a current active license to practice as an RN in the state.
- Have knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines governing long-term care.
Nice To Haves
- Previous supervisory experience in a hospital, long-term care community, or other related health care facility.
- Geriatric nursing experience.
