About The Position
Arkansas City Presbyterian Manor is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise the day-to-day nursing activities of LPNs and nursing assistants. The RN ensures that supervision and care follow applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing the Community. The role advances a resident-first approach, values the Community as residents’ home, helps create a homelike environment, and models person-centered care. The posting lists starting pay of $35.00 per hour, plus shift differential under a premium pay plan, with additional pay based on experience.
Requirements
- Possess a nursing degree from an accredited college or university, or graduate from an approved RN program.
- Hold a current, active license to practice as an RN in the state.
- Have knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines governing long-term care.
Nice To Haves
- Previous supervisory experience in a hospital, long-term care community, or other related health care facility.
- Geriatric nursing experience.
