About The Position
Farmington Presbyterian Manor is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by LPNs and nursing assistants. The RN must ensure that care and supervision comply with applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations. The role advances a resident-first approach, recognizes the Community as the residents’ home, helps create a home-like environment, and models person-centered care. The position starts at $35.00 per hour, with a weekend differential and additional pay based on experience. Previous experience in a hospital, long-term care community, or related health care facility, as well as geriatric nursing experience, is preferred.
Requirements
- Possess a nursing degree from an accredited college or university, or graduate from an approved RN program.
- Possess a current active license to practice as an RN in the state.
- Have knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines governing long-term care.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a hospital, long-term care community, or other related health care facility.
- Geriatric nursing experience.
