About The Position

Lawrence Presbyterian Manor is seeking a Health Services RN to join their team. The RN will be empowered to actively participate in the lives of residents and their families, providing the best quality of life and care. The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing direct nursing care to residents and supervising the day-to-day nursing activities performed by LPNs and nursing assistants, in accordance with federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations. The role advances the value that the resident comes first, valuing the Community as the resident’s home and working to create attributes of home and modeling person-centered care.

Requirements

Must possess a nursing degree from an accredited college or university or be a graduate of an approved RN program.
Must possess a current active license to practice as an RN in this state.
Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures as well as laws, regulations and guidelines governing long term care.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience as a supervisor in a hospital, long term care community or other related health care facility.
Geriatric nursing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Providing direct nursing care to residents.
Supervising the day to day nursing activities performed by LPNs and nursing assistants in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations governing the Community.
Advancing the value that the resident comes first.
Creating attributes of home and modeling person-centered care.
