About The Position

Touchmark at Georgetown, a premier retirement community in Central Texas, is seeking a full-time Health Services Coordinator. This role is crucial for enriching the lives of residents and their families through exceptional service. The coordinator will be responsible for creating and managing the Health Services schedule, addressing all scheduling issues including call-ins, and securing replacements for shift coverage. Additionally, the position involves attending scheduled in-services and staff meetings, training new Health Services team members such as Medication Aides and Certified Caregivers, and performing other assigned duties.

Requirements

  • Have experience as a Certified Caregiver / Certified Medication Aide
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Possess a CPR/AED/First Aid certification
  • Possess strong critical thinking skills
  • Be able to work in a busy environment, with frequent changes and interruptions
  • Have the ability prioritize multiple tasks
  • Possess excellent computer skills, including but not limited to MS Office, MS Excel, and Outlook
  • Have a genuine interest in caring for elderly residents and working in a geriatric environment
  • Possess a willingness to continue learning and improving skills, as well as a commitment to confidentiality
  • Be able to maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, staff members and visitors

Nice To Haves

  • Prior administrative experience

Responsibilities

  • Create the Health Services schedule
  • Handle any/all schedule issues for the Health Services team including but not limited to call-ins and finding replacements for shift coverage
  • Attend scheduled in-services and staff meetings
  • Train new Health Services team members (i.e. Medication Aides and Certified Caregivers)
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
