About The Position

Rite of Passage is hiring a Health Services Administrator (RN) at Les Peters Youth Academy in St. Petersburg, Florida. The role is responsible for the health care of students and for maintaining their medical files. The administrator also educates staff and students about health issues, first aid, infection control, and emergency procedures. This salaried position requires at least 40 hours per week. The work schedule is set by the supervisor, the Program Director, based on what best serves the youth.

Requirements

• Possess a clear and valid Florida Registered Nurse license.
• Have two years of previous Medical Services Administration experience.

• A bachelor’s degree in a related health care field is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide health care for students in the program.
• Maintain student medical files.
• Educate staff and students on health issues, first aid, infection control, and emergency procedures.
