About The Position

Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) is seeking a Health Management Intern for the Employer Services team. This internship offers a comprehensive program providing real-world business, risk management, and insurance experience. Interns will learn to apply classroom concepts through project work and client interaction, developing professional skills for their careers. The program aims to provide insight into the insurance industry and serve as a springboard for full-time careers, focusing on tools for Client Management or Sales pathways.

Requirements

Pursuing a degree in health and wellness – dietetics/nutrition management, kinesiology, health promotion, exercise physiology, corporate wellness/fitness or public health.
Detailed and organized with excellent organizational and time management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Ability to work on a team as well as individually.
Must conduct self professionally; have the ability to effectively build and maintain positive working relationships with management, employees, and peers.
Proficiency in MS office applications required.

Responsibilities

Work closely with the local team to help create content for seminars/webinars, communication campaigns, and other programs to support clients on health and well-being topics.
Explore the role of a Health Management consultant by participating in a variety of meetings and trainings.
Apply concepts learned in the classroom through project work and client interaction.
Develop professional skills that will serve you the rest of your career.
Support actual clients by learning the basics of world-class insurance programs.
