As our Health Management Intern on the Employer Services team, you’ll work closely with our local team to help create content for seminars/webinars, communication campaigns and other programs to support our clients on a variety of health and well-being topics. They’ll also get the opportunity to explore what it is like to be a Health Management consultant participating in a variety of meetings and trainings.

MMA's internship is a comprehensive program that will provide you with real world business, risk management and insurance experience. Learn to apply the concepts you’ve learned in the classroom through project work and client interaction. You’ll also develop professional skills that will serve you the rest of your career. Marsh McLennan Agency’s internship program gives you the chance to find your interest and place in the insurance industry. MMA’s goal is to provide insight into all areas of the insurance industry and act as a springboard into full-time careers in the role you desire. Our internship will focus on the tools needed to build a solid foundation for our Client Management or Sales career pathways.

Requirements

• Pursuing a degree in health and wellness – dietetics/nutrition management, kinesiology, health promotion, exercise physiology, corporate wellness/fitness or public health.
• Detailed and organized with excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work on a team as well as individually.
• Must conduct self professionally; have the ability to effectively build and maintain positive working relationships with management, employees, and peers.
• Proficiency in MS office applications required.

Responsibilities

• Help create content for seminars/webinars, communication campaigns and other programs to support clients on health and well-being topics.
• Explore what it is like to be a Health Management consultant by participating in meetings and trainings.
• Apply concepts learned in the classroom through project work and client interaction.
• Develop professional skills.
• Learn the basics of insurance programs while supporting clients.
